Falling in love with God… who does that?
After moving from Florida to Tennessee, I found myself feeling a bit stagnant, wondering if I had made the right decision. Yet during that season, music began to open something deep within my soul. Looking back, I believe I was being prepared for what was to come.
Then, on a quiet country road in Triune, Tennessee, an extraordinary spiritual moment changed my life forever.
I had no religious background, yet God completely rocked my world. He opened my heart and whispered His love into my soul. In a single moment, I was introduced to a love greater than anything I had ever known.
From there, everything changed.
He introduced me to Jesus and to the Holy Spirit. I felt like a wide-eyed child again, filled with wonder and an unquenchable desire to know more. I often describe it as "liquid love"—a love so overwhelming and beautiful that it transformed the way I see the world.
Some may find my journey unconventional, but what I bring is a modern-day road to Damascus story—one filled with wonder, discovery, and a deep desire to share the love that captured my heart.
I am a professional photographer by trade, and my eyes have been trained to see beauty all around me. But this experience taught me something even greater—to feel the beauty that lives within.
Today, I share that journey through my writing, music, photography, art, and speaking. As a wife, mother of four amazing adult children, and grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren, I have learned that God's love often reveals itself in both the extraordinary moments and the simple gifts of everyday life.
The purpose God has placed before me is simple:
To ignite—or rekindle—the flame in dormant souls.
If your love for Him has grown dim, or if you are simply searching for something more, then perhaps our paths have crossed for a reason.
Let's set our hearts ablaze with a LOVE like no other.
"And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns." — Philippians 1:6
I am far from who I believe God is calling me to be, but I trust Him completely.
And He knows it.
Wishing you a day filled with His abundant love,
Lori Garner
